so it means the filming will start on 2013 maybe?

Haven't heard anything official but it was assumed it would start filming later this year.

There're rumors that they want start filming in September or sometimes later in the fall. But as Sav said, there's nothing official now.
It's also not official that Chloë will be in the movie again. Maybe they have to change their shooting schedule because Chloë is very busy next months with her other movie projects.
( This should be one of the reasons why it's not official announced that Chloë will play Hit-Girl again. They just have to manage all the different schedules of everyone )

I dont think that the sequel will be hard to pull off as long as they write it ro fit the actors that are cast. as for remakes of paat films. they are so much harder to adapt. critics and fans seem to hold much higher expectations. chloe did an amazing
Performance in let me in. the remake of let the right one in. and im sure she is doing awesome with the carrie remake. i saw carrie when it came out in the theater. yes im that old. so i have seen my share of flops. Its her acting that will make or break these films.

Does anyone know if Chloe has watched Kick-Ass yet?I think she is old enough to watch it now.

AFAIK she watched it when it was released. There should be no big problem if she would watch it because she watch it in a different way.
She's one of the actors of this movie and she knows how all this different scenes where made. I guess she would have different feelings while watching it than most of us or most of the same-aged people.
She wouldn't have fear or be shocked by some controversally or violent scenes, she just would remember the hard work while filming this scene and maybe she's enjoyed when she see the results of her work.

Lyndsy Fonseca talked a few words about "Kick-Ass 2" during her interview for her new movie "Nikita" at the ComicCon in San Diego.
There are no new infos about the sequel, it's just the same fact that there's no official announcement yet.

Christopher Mintz-Plasse says KA-2 will probably start filming in September.

The last two days there were a few news of KA 2. It seems that it's official now that Chloë ( and Aaron Johnson ) will return for their roles and that they start filming in September. It also seems that it gets filmed in Toronto and London. Maybe Chloë will stay longer in Toronto to continue with Kick Ass 2 after the shooting of Carrie.

Now the producers start the casting for the role of "Mother Russia", a new villain and the bodyguard ( ? ) of Red Mist.
