Ok I was at work, on my last break of the day and I decided to look at ChloeMoretz.com on my blackberry (who am I kidding, I look at this site whenever I get the chance lol) And I saw that Chloe had landed an new role in Hick. I thought to myself "cool, more info on what Chloe's doing" So I was reading the small story info that they gave you and they had the SPOILERS in the 2nd paragraph. I was like "Man!! I've already read this much, mind's keep reading" As I kept on reading I was like "Man!! This is a very serious role that Chloe was gonna be playing" Until I got to THAT part... I went from this to to to to then finally this in like a split second. For those who don't know what imma talking about, it's the r--- scene, kind of disturbing. I was kind of hoping Chloe wouldn't do this kind of role until she was older. To make it worse, I was having a bad day at work, and Orvis didn't ship my fly reel that I had order. Ok imma getting off track, I mean I'm glad that Chloe is taking on so many different types of roles but this may be alittle bit too much for me. I mean I know that this is just a movie and all but I really just don't feel right about watching this kind of thing, And to Chloe too, thats a no no. If only it didn't have that dang r--- scene I'll be happy. I know imma going to lose sleep tonight thinking about this I just had to get this off my chest other wise I'll be going crazy. I mean right now I writing this while I'm at work, and I'm already off work. I'm just sitting here in the lunch room writing this on my little Blackberry. Maybe I'm just over reacting but this is what I think. I already feel sorry for who ever plays Eddie (the rapist) cause I already hate him for what he's gonna do to Chloe, ahhhhhh But tell me what you think about this. Sorry for going on for so long. Imma just sad, pissed and happy about this. (mixed feelings)

I see where Chloe is going with this role: gritty drama, 'Taxi Driver' comparisons, critical acclaim, academy nominations - but I feel Maury Povic is much better at this genre

I was like oh, this is exciting news, but when I read Palmyra, Nebraska, I was like Oh *bleep* (that better Hitgirlx?) thats like less than 25 minutes away from me! I personally live in Lincoln, Nebraska and we don't really get a lot of movies shot here. Part of Yes Man was shot in Lincoln and at our college football stadium (Go Huskers! seats 85,000!)

Anyway, it would be cool to get part of the movie shot on location here in Nebraska! Maybe I could be an extra! haha, it would be sweet to at least see the set and some of the actors (i.e. Chloe) filming if only a small portion of the movie!

But yeah, I hope the r--- scene turns into maybe like just an abuse or something. I don't know, r--- scenes with minors are sketchy in my eyes. But Chloe's mom reads all the scripts, so it must be adapted tastefully.

Totally looking forward to more news from this project!

I was reading Choe's brother Trevor's twitter and it looks like the Hick script will have the nasty bits removed. He says:

<<we r monitoring the script and it won't b as hardcore>>

and I think he's talking about the Hick script when answering a girl who was concerned about the book. His twitter is here:

Well I hope you're right. Just make that scene into an abuse then I'll be alright. If they are determined to have that r--- scene then I don't think I can handle watching it (I know what you're thinking WUSS).

Not at all - I'm thinking 'this person has some humanity'. If the film is really good drama it shouldn't need a controversial plot-point like that.

Lets hope you're right. Cause swearing is one thing , killing... I'm ok with that, as long as they don't take it too seriously (with Chloe that is). But this is like a whole new level, and u thought that Chloe got hit hard by the media with Kick-Ass. Just u wait if this goes though, there will be hell.
