Wish it was that easy for me, Sergey, but it isn't, not with the nonsense I've seen spread around, particularly the past month or so.

I'm reminded of what Chloë herself said when she was asked whether her fans will like 'Hick'

Someone's opinion of the quality of a film and what impression they get of Chloe as an individual are two very different things. And Chloe's certainly aware of what people think of her as she's talked about "haters" before.

I don't have a problem with the spread because she's simply recreating a shot from a movie as part of a tribute to a legendary director. But don't underestimate the idiocy of some people. Check out some of the recent threads at her IMDB page for examples.

Sorry, but I think you entirely missed my point. Imo, what she said wasn't so much about the "quality" of the movie, but about the controversial aspects of it. Which, in light of these photos and some of the feedback they've been getting, is why I brought it up. I quoted Chloë as a way of saying that how people react, whether to a movie like Hick or a photoshoot like this one is all up to them, and she knows that. In other words, it's their choice and therefore, their responsibility, not hers. They can diss her movie or call her pics inappropriate if they want, but she's not going to let it bother her. Not just because she realizes that a lot of it comes from ignorance, jealousy, or some personal hangups, but because she knows she can't help how some people think or feel.

Oh and I know about all the judgmental people and knee-jerk reactionaries, so I don't really need to look at IMDB or JustJared anymore. I've seen them all over, even here and on twitter (there was one guy acting all holier-than-thou, who used to rant on the Hick thread and basically tried to harass Chloë and Trevor with tweets because he was so desperate not to have them do the movie). I've even gotten some Chloë haters leaving comments on my youtube vids. So, no, I'm not underestimating them at all.

It may or may not bother her, Steve, but that doesn't mean a false meme that spreads can't be damaging to her career or reputation. Most comment sections in Chloe-related articles or news have turned into a joke. I'd love to be able to let that roll off my back but, knowing the person Chloe is, it annoys the hell out of me.
