I am very much not a hater for sure - and calling people ignorant, jealous or having personal hangups just because they dont agree on everything is a bit childrish (which isnt much of a surprice if it came from Chloë herself - she is after all still young)

First off, I wasn't talking about you at all (that post wasn't even addressed to you). And what's childish about bringing up those qualities and emotions that ARE a primary motivating factor for a lot of haters? I didn't just type in those terms merely to denigrate people, but to show that their irrational hatred often stems from them. So, next time, please try not to misconstrue what I said just to insult me. I don't like getting into arguments here, but that was something I had to address.

Also, you're not the only one here who cares a lot about Chloë. As I said to Sav, I've had sick comments on my own youtube vids where I felt like I had to block people and remove their posts. We ALL worry about her, how she's unfairly perceived by some people, how she gets disrespected and perved on. You don't have to keep trumpeting how much you care, as if you were somehow the only one that does. You care, we get it, case closed.

If I seem peeved, it's not something I enjoy feeling. But that "childish" comment was totally uncalled for. I usually just try to post pics and vids here. The last thing I want is to go back and forth endlessly when in the end, we'll always have our own personal opinions. The main thing is, as frog once said in another thread, we're all Chloë fans here. And of course I count you as one, whether or not we see eye to eye on some things. I never once implied that you're a hater. Like I said, that post was a reply to Sav and you never even crossed my mind when I wrote that. Truth to tell, I get so tired of this. It's why I don't feel like posting here sometimes. I already feel enough stress when I come across people who diss or perv on Chloë on other sites.

I am sorry if I have offended you - I didnt mean that at all. The childrish comment was actually targetted Chloë and not you - since I read your text as it was something Chloë had said.

All I was trying to say was, that not all people are haters - and that I am not afraid to say "bad" things about Chloë if I think she has made a wrong choice... Most hardcore fans would never do that.

But I dont just post "hater" comments like the once you say you get on your youtube channel. I would never do stuff like that, its just beneath me to act like that - and most people that do are just trolling more than hating. I try to explain why I dont like Chloë doing this or wearing clothes like that etc.

On that note you are totally correct - and it was all I was trying to say too. I was just trying to tell why I feel bad about "hick" and a few of Chloë "clothe experiments" - because I know some of the more hardcore fans would properly see me as a hater if I did not.

Haha, as someone else said earlier I think she just uses the excuse "Mother dosnt allow me to..." to safeguard her from having seen movies rated beyond her age.

In her line of profession I would think it is important, that she has been shown the classic movies and also movies of the top actors she is gonna work with to know who they are and how they work.

She said she was allowed to watch Kill Bill in prep for her role in Kick-Ass, just as she watched Interview with the Vampire, another adult film, in prep for Let Me In. I don't think that means she's not telling the truth about Taxi Driver.

She's never had a problem talking about the more adult movies she's seen. Perhaps Taxi Driver's more realistic tone makes it off limits for now.

Thats not entirely true. She always said she hadn't been allowed to see Kick-Ass and that she hadn't seen it.

But in the last Max interview she confessed, that she (of cause) had seen it... And laughed about how not to send the police to her ;)

Oskar, originally she couldn't watch Kick-Ass. But last year she mentioned on Twitter that she was watching it with her mom. And then on a press tour for Let Me In, she was on a British morning show called "Daybreak" where she said she had seen it "like 15 times."

The thing with Max is just her joking because she's not legally allowed to watch it in British theaters yet.

Yes, I remember that. But she had already seen it even prior to filming Kick-Ass. It's why she mentioned Uma Thurman's character as one of her inspirations for Hit-Girl during press junkets.
