I'm going to Germany on saturday! Ah, I'm just really excited to go skiing again And maybe I can even convince my Dad to take me to the theater to watch Hugo. But it's supposedly -20°C so that's killing my mood somewhat..

Welcome in Germany. And a lot of fun while skiing.
But watching Hugo is a little problem. You have to wait till Thursday (Feb 09), then it starts in german theaters.
Or do you stay in Germany till Thursday?

Thank you! And yeah, we're staying two weeks, we've got Zeugnisferien (break, but it's not winter break, we just get our grades and have holidays, no idea if there's a word for that in english? I guess it would just be a break? xD), so yeah. And I have to go in Germany, I just noticed Hugo starts here the week I have my finals (kind-of-but-not-really, because we don't have finals, but they are very similar to finals), and it will be practically impossible for me to actually go out and watch it (I guess this counts as a bad exciting thing?). And I do realize it will be in theaters for longer than a week, but I won't be able to concentrate if I know Hugo's out and I can't watch it! (lol priorities)

I bought another 8-track car stereo for my collection, this time a 1979 Mopar unit. Very clean, factory connectors intact. Yay!

Still need to find that 8-track tape used in The Poker House for that in-car singalong...
