Women in Film will honor Viola Davis, Bonnie Hammer, Chloe Grace Moretz and Christina Applegate at its June 12 fundraising dinner.
"The Help" star Davis will be recognized with the Crystal Award for excellence in film, while NBCU Cable maven Hammer is being honored with the Lucy Award for excellence in television. Moretz, who stars in May release "Dark Shadows," has been selected as Women in Film's Max Mara "Face of the Future." Thesp Applegate will be recognized with the Norma Zarky Humanitarian Award for her work with Right Action for Women, which provides screenings to women who are at risk for breast cancer.
Iris Grossman, President Emeritus of Women In Film, Los Angeles, returning this year as Chair of the Awards, said, "Viola, Bonnie and Christina exemplify women whose determination, courage and vision have shaped their careers and inspired us all. Chloe Moretz defines the future, her extraordinary talent will continue to entertain and move generations to come."
