I've been busy lately, but I finally managed to do a new 3D conversion:

That is so cool! Will that work with the new 3D glasses or just the red/blue ones?

These are pretty sweet! That larger pic(with the gun) really pops out! I've tried my hand using GIMP(the poor man's Photoshop) in making some 3D pics, but I can't seem to get it right. I've been able to extract red and cyan
layers from the pix I want to convert, but I'm having a hard time, 'merging', or 'blending' them together. I've researched 'How to convert 2D to 3D' on google, but none of those 'tutorials' seem to work! Can you explain how you do it? Thanks!

There's a few different programs I use. Which one I use depends on the type of scene. There's a free program called Gimpel 3D (http://gimpel3d.com/) that is one of the most sophisticated programs out there for doing manual 3D conversions. You actually build a 3d model based on the photo you want to convert, so you get really good results. It was just a hobby project for the guy that wrote the program though, so it's a little buggy and has a steep learning curve.

The other program I use is called Tridef Photo Transformer (http://www.tridef.com/user-guide/photo-transformer). Although it has some limitations compared to Gimpel 3D, it's a lot easier to use. It has a tool that allows you to create a "depth map" of how far away or close everything is. It's not free, though, it costs about $50. Sometimes I also use Photoshop to edit the depth map a little.

Here's an example of a depth map:

Thanks, I downloaded the Gimpel 3D program, and will post some 3D pix as soon as I learn how to use it.
