Movies in 2010 to 2012?

Discuss Chloë's films and other projects.

I don't like horror movies and I hadn't see Chloë's movies if she weren't in it - but I wanted to see her work and performance in the movies. And I think I would never see "Carrie" if Chloë wouldn't play the role. But now that she would play it I'll watch it. :)

I saw "Jack and the Beanstalk" (Yes I had the courage to see the whole movie :D ).
It was a - let me call it an - interesting movie. It's a kids movie - AFAIK the only one Chloë ever did yet (Diary of a Wimpy kid is more for older kids) and maybe that's not Chloë's prefered genre.
But her performance is such great like in every other movie and her fighting scene reminds me to Kick-Ass.

I love horror movies - but I've shown Let Me In to people who hate them and are scared very easily and they enjoyed it. There's maybe two frightening scenes in the entire film (Abby killing the jogger, Abby killing the detective) that carry a lot of horror elements.. but otherwise it comes across more as a coming of age story between Owen and Abby.

The original Let the Right One In has even less horror aspects to it.

I'm still struggling to understand how people think Let Me In even has any scary bits. It doesn't. I'm a big fan of horror movies and I'm able to spot the good ones, but even for an avid horror movie fan, there should be no scary bits.

If I could choose the themes for it, they would be: Thriller, Romance, & Drama.

Yeah exactly, I actually prefer Let Me In than the original Let The Right One In.

Let the Right One In is very good in my opnion. The only thing it's missing is Chloe!

I'll spare some time for it soon. I have to watch 'The Eye' and 'The Kid' yet - so I may be a while.

You have to see "The Eye". But Chloë has only some short scenes.

(And in "The Kid" she's not in).

Enjoy the movies. :)
