Everyone's entitled to their opinions but it's important to be able to respect others if they have a different one than you. You have to give to receive .

I'm excited to find out who will be Chloe's co-stars for this one. I guess they are going with an appropriately aged cast which is surprising. Usually when there's teenagers in movies you see them getting played by 20 somethings.

Sissy Spacek was 27, I think, when she did the Carrie role.

I actually found the movie on DVD yesterday and saw it again, and one thing I really noticed about Sissy Spaceks brilliant performance was her eyes (I already read about her eyes earlier in some interview, so I payed much attention to them). She uses her eyes pretty good to really portrait her feelings, confusion and anger... Awesome.

I hope Chloë pays notice to the eyes too when she watches the movie (again, I think) to prepare herself for the role.

Im pretty sure its implied she is to play Carrie. Carrie, besides the mother, is the only lead character - and it says she is to be the next Carrie or play the lead in all articles.

Don't think she would be this excited if it was not the lead role.

In most of the articles which are linked here and which Chloë linked on Twitter it's mentioned that she will play the leading role "Carrie". So I think there's no need for speculations about the role she will play in this movie.

about 27 is right... "Sissy" aka Mary Elizabeth Spacek born 1949 ( 25 Sept), movie filmed 1976....

edit: And there arent all movies that one person do only one person... in example in one movie there was one person at 3 roles... 1946 version Beatu and monster... ( Beatu´s Brother, that one man and "Monster")

Found a bigger version of the fan-made Carrie poster (posted back on page 6 or 7)... Dunno who made it, but I love it alot.



Kimberly Peirce also "approves" of the poster on her facebook - though I cant find that link link again - and somehow I cant manually access Kimberly's facebook, as I don't have facebook myself and it wants me to register... But she has it on her gallery and a lot of people have commented on it - all pretty positive.

Thanks Oskar for the higher resolution . I just put it as my phone's screensaver. As far as Sissy Spacek's and acting with her eyes goes, I think Chloe already does a great job of this naturally. Watching her in interviews and what not, Chloe is always emoting with her eyes and facial expressions even when she may not intend to...but, you can always learn something from watching a legend like Sissy Spacek. I'm going to have to go out and get Carrie now on DVD so i can see what you mean. I haven't seen it since i was a kid
