Let me In

Postby Purple » Tue May 15, 2012 11:30 am

Did anyone see Let Me In? I never saw it. I was reluctant to see it because I thought it was an American knock-off (which it kinda is hahaha) of the original Let The Right One In but I hadn't known till' recently that Chloe was in it. Is it good? I kinda want to see it but I am still a little hesitant because it isn't the original (Which is amazing!). But yeh.... xD

Yeah, I think most of us here has seen it and as I recall almost all are very thrilled about it.

We already have a rather lengthy thread about let me in here:
http://www.chloemoretz.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=16&t=405

You can read most of our discussions there and feel free to add your own once you have seen the movie - if ýou ever chooses too. I would say, that you should see it. Its, in my mind, Chloë alltime best performance - and a very good story.

Just to words: WATCH IT !! One of Chloë's greatest movies and roles (and the choice is not easy) and one of my favorite movies with her. And take a look into the other thread Oskar links.

You know I really hate people's hating of remakes even if it's a great one. Go watch it, please, make up a little for its poor box office.

I originally thought it was good, then bad, then now I think it's really good...

If you want to enjoy this movie, you have to understand what the "Abby' character is going through-you have to try to understand her from a tragic point of view (and not entirely manipulative).

I love both films, but find Let Me In preferable by a slight margin (mostly because I "get" all its references, being American and not Swedish). John Ajvide Lindquist, author of the original novel, praised it.

You will NOT be disappointed! This is the movie that made me feel in 'love' with Chloe for a couple of days - I swear! But remember the phrase, you can't judge a book by it's cover? So until you watch it you can only speculate. :)
