So I just read the entire Kick-Ass comic series today :geek: and I must say it was pretty awesome. It was different than the movie version in some ways, but the changes were interesting and I still very much enjoyed it!This has got me kinda interested in comics and I might read some more now.How many of you have read Kick-Ass?

I have all of the first Kick-Ass comics and I loved them too.

I think, they were my first "real" comics too and it is pretty different than reading a book, but still a good way to get even more info. The experience also made me buy the comic-books for Scott Pilgrim vs the world after that movie.

I am also gonna buy all of the Kick-Ass 2 comics this summer when they come collected as a hardcopy version later this month (or maybe it was next month).

I read the first comic of Kick-Ass too. Now I'm waiting for the whole second comic Kick-Ass 2 and for the Hit-Girl spin-off comic.
You're right, there're a lot of difference between the comic and the movie - especially the role of Big-Daddy. But I must say, I like the movie version even more and I'm glad that Matthew Vaughn and Jane Goldman changed some parts of the comic for the movie.

I assume Hardcopy version just means when it gets printed out together in a book and the cover is literally hard (because its made out of carboard).

This is the hardcover version of the first kick-ass.

Thanks for the link, SuperChloe. It looks very awesome but I'm a little bit confused too about which part of the story is a part of Kick-Ass 2 and which one is a part of the Hit-Girl Spin-off.

But to me it doesn't care at this moment. When the KA 2 comic is available in Germany I will buy it and then I will wait for Kick-Ass 3 and the Hit-Girl Spin-off comic book. And when they get released I will also buy them. :)
