One of the problems with getting KA2 going is Jane Goldman is also working on X-men FC. As long as Mark Mllar is on board with the production, they dont really need to have the comic finished, just his guidance on what will happen. Until Goldman and Vaughn r free to start the screenplay KA2 is at a standstill.

My problem with X-men FC isnt KA2 but rather the DVD. I was hoping for a director's cut as Vaughn mentioned some added scenes but it seems he chose X-men instead leaving us with the theatrical cut.

Me too! But I'm sure Lionsgate, the distributor, know that lots of people will buy a director's cut so my guess is that it will come out eventually.

Matthew Vaughn has said he took a much longer version of the film and took scenes out to make it shorter so perhaps the director's cut already exists!

You could try asking Mark Millar on his forum or though twitter. He seems to often know the answers to these kinds of questions.
