Kick-Ass 2 - The Sequel

Well, sometime the movie change a little different than the book/comic book. According to my friend, some movies comes out before the comic book complete. Hard to tell if he's right. Who knows. Hope KA-2 comes out real soon

The first movie did indeed come out before the first comic was finished. Only 6 of 8 were done at the time of filming. It just comes down to all the pieces falling in place. Director, actors, funding, etc

If it's done within the next few years, I really do think Chloë will want to be a part of it. She's already said as much. Of course, scheduling conflicts could play a part in that, if it gets made at all.

I'd be very surprised if Chloë gets involved with the sequel when and if it comes. She's grown-out of being Hit Girl.

Quite true. She was quite a bit taller and shapelier in Let Me In already.

They might put the story farther in the future though.

Well, they might make one if Mark Millar writes enough story. But don't expect Chloë in it.

I don't think they should make a sequel just for the sake of it or to fulfill some studio's profit projections. I do think there's enough to create a unique story that could stand on it's own merits. I havent read any of the comics, so i dont know where it is in the story line, but it would make sense to have hit-girl, kick-ass and red mist return. It seems like its still up in the air, but i for one hope they make a sequel. i just hope it has the same sense of integrity the first one had and i know mathew vaughn wouldnt do it otherwise. then again, if a studio has the rights, it will get made one way or another.
